Elanora values Member support and respect for the quiet elegance and tradition that has been the Club's hallmark since its inception in 1928. Accordingly the following dress regulations should be strictly observed:

It is the responsibility of all Members to make visitors and intending visitors aware of the dress regulations before they visit the Club.
Men:

Jeans, cargo-style pants or shorts and cord tie/elastic jogging type trousers are not permitted.

Only shorts that are tailored will be allowed.

Plain sports white calf length short socks or white claf length socks with a minimal logo are the only authorised short socks to be worn with tailored shorts.

Shirts with a minimal logo must have collars and be tucked in at all times.

The wearing of shoes or deck shoes without socks is not allowed at any time.

In the Clubhouse, caps and hats are only acceptable in the Locker Room.

Ladies are expected to maintain their dress and appearance in a manner in keeping with the standards of the Club at all times and are obliged to ensure their guests do likewise.

Ladies - The following golf attire is not acceptable on the Course: Mini skirts, short shorts, singlet tops, shirts without collars, denim irrespective of colour, any jean style or studded pants, stirrup pants, leggings, cargo-style pants or shorts or tracksuits. Tops must be tucked in unless specifically designed to be worn over the waist. In the Clubhouse, caps are only acceptable in the Locker Room.

Ladies - Skirts and divided skirts, Bermuda style shorts and tailored pants of any length are acceptable.

Shoes on the course - Golf shoes with soft spikes must be worn. Metal spikes are not permitted.

Mobile Phones - The use of mobile phones is not permitted on the golf course or in the Clubhouse. Calls may only be taken in the car park.
On the Golf Course
- Mobile phones may only be used during competition or social rounds in
exceptional circumstances. During social play or while using any other
of the Club's facilities, use of a mobile phone is permitted provided
it does not delay, distract or disrupt others using any of the Club's
facilities. Staff during the course of their duties are permitted use
of a mobile phone.
