Golf Lessons

Playing golf to a standard you will enjoy is the ultimate goal for most golfers.  Despite this many golfers persevere in misery in the hope that their fortunes will one day change.  This misery can be cut short with lessons from our two professionals at Elanora,  Head Teaching Professional, Dean Meagher and Assistant Professional, Gillian Rae.  All are highly qualified PGA Professionals and have had long teaching careers helping golfers of all standards to enjoy the game of golf.

7 Days a week

Lessons are available 7 days a week by appointment, and can cover anything from a private half hour lesson to a nine hole playing lesson.

Driving Range & Practice Fairway

Elanora has a two level grass driving range where the majority of lessons are conducted.  The club also has a smaller practice fairway, located below the lodge, where short game lessons are held.  This facility has a chipping and putting green at one end, of the same standard as the golf course, and at the other end a practice bunker, also made to the same specifications as the golf course.  In the middle is a teeing ground where lessons on pitching are conducted.

The weather will never be a problem for lessons at Elanora as the Golf Shop has an indoor long game studio, using Trackman and Swingcatalyst, and an indoor putting studio utilising the Sam Putt Lab technology.

Indoor Coaching Studios

Elanora has two state of the art indoor coaching studios for full swing and putting analysis. These studios can be utilised for lesson services at the standard lesson pricing. Use of the indoor golf course simulator and driving range is complimentary (availability subject to lesson bookings) after 2:30pm following a reservation made through the Golf Shop.

Lessons Packages

There are a range of lessons packages for multi lesson purchases.  Please contact the Golf Shop for details on pre-purchase lessons, lesson vouchers, playing lessons and indoor studio vouchers.

In addition to private lessons the Golf Shop also hosts a number of clinics for both men and ladies throughout the year. These often cover a particular area of the game such as putting.  Watch out for these in the club newsletter.

Junior Golf Program

Every school holidays a children’s golf and tennis clinic is held over two days.  These clinics introduce keen young golfers to all aspects of the game.  This is the perfect entre to the soon-to-begin junior golf program which the club hopes will turn enthusiastic young golfers into full members of the club.
