Geoff Black – Sports & Operations Manager

Geoff has a degree in Sports and Exercise Management from The University of Technology Sydney.  He is also a Chartered PGA Professional of Australia.  He has experience in running Golf Departments here in Sydney and has also coached oversees for several years in China.  Geoff is passionate about golf and has years of service experience.  He looks forward to providing the members and guests with great experiences each and every time at Elanora.

Lauren Hibbert – Retail Manager

Lauren Hibbert is a LPGA Professional, previously competing on the Symetra Tour in the USA and on the Australian LPGA circuit.  She is currently completing her Bridging School Program with the Australian PGA.  Lauren is excited for the opportunity to run the Retail Facility of the Golf Shop.  She is experienced in buying and merchandising of both ladies and men’s clothing.  She looks forward to meeting all the members and providing them with a wonderful retail experience here at Elanora.

Tina Rutzou – Sport Administration & Communications

Tina has a degree in Sports Management from the University of Technology Sydney.  She is also a Master Trainer and Personal trainer and comes from a health and fitness background.  Her current role involves Sports Administration and Communications, which includes all of our sports such as Golf, Bowls, Tennis, Bridge and Croquet.

Dean Meagher – Head Teaching Professional

Dean is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Coach and also Trackman Certified Coach. He takes a holistic approach to his coaching and looks forward to providing you with a first class coaching experience. Dean has previously competed on the Australasian Tour and the Canadian Tour, before dedicating his time to his coaching career.

 

Gillian Rae – Teaching Professional

Gillian has been the Assistant Professional at Elanora Country Club since July 2016.  Arriving in Australia from her native Scotland in 1989 she soon made her mark in amateur golf, winning 25 Jean Derrin tournaments, as well as being a member of the NSW state team.  Gillian became a member of the Australian PGA in 1997 after completing her traineeship at Terrey Hills Golf Club and has been teaching full time since 2001.  In 2009 she was nominated for the NSW/ACT Teaching Professional of the Year, the first female to be nominated for this award. 

Stefan Tuionetoa – Trainee Professional

Stefan is a second year trainee. Stefan began his golfing journey as a junior, representing the ACT as Schoolboys Captain for two years, subsequently being offered positions on the Australian Junior Team and the Tongan National Team for the Pacific Games.  He has worked across multiple golf clubs in Canberra, and has experience with club fitting, shop operations and corporate events. Stefan is currently a member at Royal Canberra Golf Club.
